KARLIE KLOSS, the St. Louis, Missouri, U.S. born, may have enjoyed a phenomenally successful modelling career since the tender age of 15, but it's not something she takes too seriously.

"I treat myself more as an athlete than just a model. I love to challenge myself physically and mentally," Kloss said. "But I'm not a professional athlete, I'm not a professional dancer, I'm not a professional anything; I have never considered modelling an actual job title. As one of the most in-demand models of the moment, admired for her easy-to-work-with approach as well as her striking look, many would consider Kloss one of the most professional models of her generation. The model herself though is frank about where she sees herself in life.

"I am aware that I am part of an image that other young girls see and I want to be proud of that, even though there is this double standard of being healthy and what that actually means in my industry," she told Into The Gloss. "But I feel healthiest and most beautiful when I take care of myself in everything from what's on my top shelf in my bathroom to eating well and doing exercise."
